Team Lean Valentine's Week Results!!!

My, my, my…many of us must have really enjoyed our Valentine’s Day!!!  Lots of missed weigh-ins and weight gains this week!!!  OK, so the “feasting season” is officially over and now it’s time to REALLY get serious!  Remember to pay your fees at the front desk if you have not done so already it’s $5.00 for missed weigh in and $1.00 per pound gained.  These fees must be paid in order to get your t-shirt and prizes!!!  Also, don’t forget the rules state that if you miss 3 consecutive weigh-ins you will be disqualified!!  If you or one of your team members missed this week’s weigh-ins you are not included in the stats.  Now that we know we are all kinda struggling, don’t be disheartened, get back up and let’s….

  9. I am doing my taxes which with the farm is a major undertaking for me. I dont think there is any way paossible to do them without snacking my way through it. I wonder if celery and clementines would w replace Wheat Thins. I'll let you know how that works.

  10. OK. I am feeling reflective at the 2/3 mark. What I have learned in Team Lean:

That I really like clementines and alot of fruits. I keep thinking of them as special treats instead of staples. Guess that comes from being raised in the midwest by parents of the depression. I mean I always got an apple and an orange in my Christmas Stocking..it was truly a treat.

  11. I was raised in the mid-west too (Wisconsin). I always received a huge apple and a huge orange in my Christmas stocking too. It's a tradition that I carry on with my kids. :) That tradition also came from the depression in my family too.

  12. 2/3 of the way thru Team Lean, I have found:
-I can add spinach to many, many things and even though I don't like it, I can't taste it.
-I can give up carbs and sweets. I am a major bread person, so I never thought I would be able to do it. I can even give up Diet Coke, which has been the staple liquid of my life for the past 20+ years.
    -I love Yoga!
-I have come to and understanding with exercise. I dread it before I do it, but once I get going, I feel great.
-I am much more competitive than I thought I was.
-And, I understand how Clay Aiken feels. Never in first place, hehe.

  14. I guess my parents were products of the Depression, and mom was raised in a one room shack in upper East TN, a very poor region, so i guess that is why I recieved apples and oranges in the "socks nailed to the firemantle" LOL. I have since learned to love apples and like oranges. :)
